Rockingham Nutrition and Meals on Wheels (RNMOW) provides nutritious meals and beneficial support services to older and disabled residents of Rockingham County, New Hampshire. The services provided help community members maintain healthy, independent lives.
The organization serves approximately 3,000 clients a year through lunch centers throughout the county, home-delivery services, and transportation services. RNMOW also works with the families of clients as they are often the direct point of contact for food recipients.
RNMOW contacted ESC to help the organization develop new branding and messaging to better reflect their broader goals and change the perception that the organization simply delivers food to the needy.

Stakeholder & Client Research
ESC conducted in-depth discussions with RNMOW staff, visited multiple lunch centers, and interviewed staff, clients, and delivery drivers to fully understand client needs and operational realities.
Communications & Brand Assessment
ESC reviewed all existing communication tools and materials to evaluate consistency, clarity, and effectiveness across donor- and client-facing messaging.
Branding & Messaging
The project produced a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy with clear recommendations for targeted communications, new audience messaging, and improved storytelling.
Marketing & Outreach Enhancements
Recommendations included revamping the website, expanding print materials, increasing social media use, launching a public relations campaign, and improving distribution of materials in key locations.
Website Planning & Vendor Support:
RNMOW began implementing the strategy and engaged ESC to identify qualified website design firms and secure cost estimates to support development of a new website.
