A Better City (ABC) represents over 130 of Boston’s leading business and civic leaders dedicated to advancing Greater Boston’s economic vitality, competitiveness, and overall quality of life.
With the guidance and support of ABC, these leaders come together to address and resolve the region’s most pressing challenges. Recognizing the need to define its evolving role and develop a roadmap for the future, ABC engaged ESC to help create a comprehensive five-year strategic plan. Through a collaborative three-phase process—environmental analysis, strategic plan formation, and action/implementation planning – ESC engaged with over 50 local stakeholders, as well as similar peer organizations across the country, to find the best models and programs for ABC to emulate.
